About Columbia Plastics

Columbia Plastics is a privately-held custom injection molding company that has been in business since 1945. Over the years, through our focused continuous improvement initiative, we have kept abreast of the technological advancements in the industry. Today, Columbia Plastics is recognized not only for the variety of services that we offer our customers (from design review, mold design and build, value-added operations, to final product packaging, etc.), but also for being the only Clean Room molder in Western Canada, serving the Pacific Northwest community and Western Canada.

We work with customers in a variety of markets including medical/dental devices manufacturing, electronics, agricultural, industrial, commercial, and mining, to name a few.

We can handle clean room applications with our ISO Class 7 (10,000) Clean Room. Our ISO 9001:2008 and ISO13485:2003 certifications assure you that we can do the job right using all types of thermoplastic materials.  We can also injection mold stainless steel components for more challenging parts using MIM technology.

Our extensive complement of auxiliary equipment ensures that we have great flexibility in fulfilling our customer’s requirements comprehensively – making us a one-stop shop in most cases.  Furthermore, through working closely with our supply chain, we strive to enhance our customer’s value stream by minimizing the finished cost of their products rather than just giving the lowest input costs.
