Challenge

Combine molding, assembly, testing and packaging of final product in Class 10,000 Clean Room Environment. Small volume of product precluded automation of molding, assembly or packaging. Our customer's objective was to select a supplier that would offer the services to them so they could be a "virtual manufacturer".

Solution

Developed manual procedures for assembly. Specialized components are ordered by the customer and drop shipped to Columbia. A multi-function assembly line attaches the RFID tag to the part, electronically tests the RFID, packages and then adds a individual serial number to the pouch in our "Class 10,000 Clean Room Environment"
