Master Unit Die Set Base (or MUD): definition

Pros:
1. Quick to make
2. Only the key components need to be purchased. This includes the
core/cavity and ejector system.
3. The molder owns the mold base.

Cons:
1. Should you choose to move the tool you will need to build a new base.
2. This is suited for small and simple parts with no undercuts (see terms).
